Description and Expected Outcomes
For faculty members to advance in their academic careers, they need to develop new skills, strategies, and guidance for managing scholarly projects. The Faculty Scholars Institute provides faculty with the skills, resources, and support needed to excel as productive scholars at EKU.
Expected outcomes include:

Strengthened skills applicable in the production of scholarship;

Increased knowledge of cultural competency approaches applicable across a range of scholarly endeavors;

Enhanced knowledge of approaches to producing, managing, submitting, and enhancing scholarly projects;

Improved skills for those pursuing scholarship and preparing for the promotion and tenure process;

Enhanced ability to identify meaningful scholarly projects as well as their potential structures; and
-
Development of writing skills necessary for producing high-quality scholarship.
